Housing Options for Returning Students 2025/2026

There are plenty of great options available for returning students.
If you're an undergraduate or postgraduate student returning to Warwick for the 2027/2028 academic year, you may already be thinking about where you’d like to live.
Most returning students live off campus in the local areas of Coventry, Leamington Spa, Canley or Kenilworth. There’s no rush to sign a contract, so take your time, ask questions, and use tools like Warwick StudentpadLink opens in a new window to browse available properties.
To help you get started, come along to our housing events - they're a great chance to get advice, compare options, and speak to the experts.
If you're an undergraduate student and are considering living on campus, we aim to open bookings in January 2027.
Bookings for postgraduate students will open in Spring 2027 for all new and returning postgraduates.
Rooms on campus for returning students are limited and available on a first come, first served basis through our instant booking platform. We prioritise students who are supported by Wellbeing and Student SupportLink opens in a new window to live on campus by the deadline on 15 January 2027.

Housing advice
Warwick Accommodation work closely with Warwick Students' Union to help offer specialist accommodation guidance and advice.
Current students returning to Warwick next academic year are encouraged to attend upcoming events and learn more about finding suitable accommodation.

Private Accommodation
There’s plenty of housing located off campus, including shared houses, studios, and purpose-built student accommodation. There’s no rush to sign a contract - take your time, explore your options, and make sure the accommodation suits your needs. Before signing a private contract, we strongly encourage you to:

Living on Campus
If you're a current student considering living on campus next academic year, we prioritise students who are supported by Wellbeing and Student SupportLink opens in a new window.
If you have specific accommodation requirements due to support needs including a hidden or physical disability that require you to be living on campus next academic year, make sure you've contacted Wellbeing and Student Support to be supported for a room on campus by 15 January 2027.
A limited number of rooms usually remain for returning students who are not supported for specific accommodation requirements and are bookable on a first-come, first-served basis.
We aim to open campus room bookings for returning undergraduates in January 2027. Keep an eye on our website for updates and announcements.
