Our residences on campus offer a wide range of choice to meet different budgets and needs.

  • Contracts start on either a Saturday or Sunday.
  • To make it easier when comparing fees across the halls, weekly let lengths have been rounded up to the nearest week.
  • If your contract does not include a particular vacation period you will have to vacate your room and remove your belongings for the duration of this period. Should you need to stay on campus, you can book vacation accommodation through the Student Information Centre.
  • If you are an incoming visiting or exchange student studying at Warwick we would look to offer you a contract only for the time you are at Warwick.


Cleaning provision

  • All shared kitchens will be cleaned at least weekly and some of the larger kitchens shared by more students will benefit from additional cleaning.
  • The specific cleaning schedule is noted within each residence for further information.
  • No cleaning in studios or duplex studios.
  • No en suite bathroom cleaning.

Number of rooms

The number of rooms on our residence webpages describes the total number of rooms in the residence rather than the number allocated to students.


Non standard rooms

Please bear in mind that Rootes Residence and Westwood Residence have some non-standard rooms which are smaller than a standard room but has the same facilities. If you are allocated to a non-standard room, your accommodation costs will be slightly less.


Building works

During the year there will be building works carried out across campus. This may affect some halls but every effort will be made to keep noise, disruption and inconvenience to a minimum.
