Claycroft Developments

There will be building works around Claycroft Residences throughout the academic year from when you arrive in September 2026. The building works will be contained to one block of Claycroft which will not be occupied by students whilst the works are being carried out.

As part of the development works, you may notice visible changes around Claycroft such as scaffold, temporary fencing, and traffic management measures. These are in place to ensure the safety of everyone nearby and are a normal part of any development project.

We’ll make every effort to keep disruption to a minimum. While some daytime noise is expected as part of the building improvements, we’re committed to ensuring it doesn’t significantly affect your studies or daily routine.

Please be aware that contractors will put up signage to indicate safe walking routes. For your own safety, follow these directions at all times.

We’re investing in Claycroft to refresh and improve the residence for current and future students. These upgrades will help ensure the accommodation meets our high standards and continues to offer our students a great living environment.

No - students who are allocated to Claycroft will not need to move rooms during the academic year.

You will be moving into a newly refreshed block from the start of your contract and any further developments will be taking place within one unoccupied block of Claycroft until the works are complete.

The Claycroft Residence team are here to provide guidance and support to help you live in your residence comfortably. The team are located at the Residence Hub during opening hours should you need any help or information throughout the academic year.
