The University of Warwick’s conference, meeting and events organisation has once again been shortlisted for Best Academic Venue in the M&IT Awards 2020 based on customer votes.

Warwick Conferences has achieved success in the Best Academic Venue category on more than 20 occasions and last year won the silver accolade.

Clive Singleton, General Commercial Manager at Warwick Conferences, said:

We are delighted to once again be in the final of the Best Academic Venue category in the M&IT Awards particularly as we have been voted for by our customers who have first-hand experience of our venues.

“We would like to thank everyone who took the time to vote which reflects their recognition of our culture of excellence.”

The annual awards, organised by Meetings & Incentive Travel magazine, brings together industry professionals from all sectors to reward excellence of service and product.

This year’s ceremony will take place at Battersea Evolution in London on February 28.

The announcement follows Warwick Conferences being named as a finalist in the inaugural West Midlands Tourism Awards, having been shortlisted in the ‘Business Events Venue of the Year’ category.

The first winners of the West Midlands Tourism Awards will be revealed at a ceremony on February 26 and will automatically be put forward to the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence taking place in June.
