A Taste of Home: Sharing Our Family Recipes
Some of the most memorable meals are those made with care, shared generously, and rooted in tradition. At Warwick Conferences, we believe food is more than just nourishment — it’s a way of bringing people together and making guests feel truly welcome.
That’s why we’re delighted to launch our Family Recipes series, sharing much-loved dishes from the homes of our staff with our guests. These are recipes that have been cooked in family kitchens for years, passed down through generations, and requested time and again by friends and loved ones.
Each recipe tells a personal story, offering a small taste of home alongside the warmth and hospitality at the heart of Warwick Conferences. From comforting classics to sweet treats, this collection celebrates the people behind the plates and the traditions that inspire them.
We’re proud to share these family favourites with you, and we hope they bring as much enjoyment to your table as they have to ours.
Our First Family Recipe: Paul’s Mum's Chocolate Tiffin
We’re delighted to begin our Family Recipes series with a much-loved chocolate tiffin from Paul Bartlett, Director of Warwick Conferences. This simple yet indulgent recipe has been part of Paul’s family story for more than five decades.
Paul grew up enjoying this tiffin in the 1970s, when his mum first started making it at home. Now 84, she still makes it today — and it remains as popular as ever with family and friends, who request it time and again.
A true family classic, this chocolate tiffin perfectly captures what our Family Recipes series is all about: food made with love, shared generously, and enjoyed across generations. We’re proud to share it with our guests as the very first taste of this special collection.
