The University of Warwick teams up with Co-op to launch a new campus store
Closing early
Some of our outlets will be closing or closing early on Friday 31 March due to annual stocktake. The Book and Gift Shop will be closed all day and re-open at 10am on Saturday 1 April. Rootes grocery store will close at 4pm and re-open at 9am on Saturday 1 April.
Helping charities
The Book and Gift Shop raised £50.40 for Children in Need from the sale of their 2016 Christmas card. You can find out more how we have supported other charities and communities across campus.
Help save the planet with your very own KeepCup
Buy a Union Coffee KeepCup on campus and get 10p off a hot drink every time you use it.
It's market day this week!
We're hoping the lovely weather will hold for market day this Wednesday on Benefactors Place and the Piazza, 10m-3pm. All the usual stall holders will be here so have a look and see if your favourite is among them!
Claim a free travel mug and hot drink
This week we're giving out free Warwick branded travel mugs and drinks vouchers to support Go Green Week. We're working with students and the University to reduce the waste of takeaway cups.
We're doing this by encouraging people to bring a travel mug when buying their hot drink.
Pop along to Rootes Grocery Store between 6-10 March to claim your free mug. Take it with your voucher to any University managed cafe and get either a free tea or filter coffee. And feel good for doing your part to help the environment.

Mini market 4 March
To support the TEDx event this weekend there will be a mini market on Koan Square 11am-2pm. You don't have to be a delegate at the event so feel free to pop along! Confirmed stall holders are: Dumpling King, Flying Cows, Fresh Roots, Open Sesame, Platinum Pancakes, Sharian's Cuisine and Street Chef.
Buddha Belly coming to Gibbet Hill
A firm favourite at our regular campus market days, Buddha Belly will be coming to Gibbet Hill on Thursday 9 March 11am-3pm. If you've not sampled their food then we strongly recommend a visit! They serve wonderful Thai street food dishes which always gets the seal of approval from happy customers.
Flippin' fantastic
It's pancake day on Tuesday 28 February and Platinum Pancakes will be flipping pancakes all day on the piazza from 10am-4pm. Bea from Cafe Library will also be making her sublime crepes (including a specialist matcha tea variety) and if you fancy making your own, rootes grocery store has all the ingredients you need.
March Food Market
The next food market is on Wednesday 15 March. Join us for a great selection of mouth watering street food and local, fresh produce.
Something for every lifestyle, nutrition & budget choice
We have a wide range of food, drink and retail offers across our outlets to cater for all lifestyle, nutrition and budget choices.
