New coffee offer in NAIC Café
Working in partnership with Starbucks, Warwick Retail is delighted to announce that NAIC Café will be serving Starbucks ‘We Proudly Serve’ range of drinks from Tuesday 1 September.
The international coffee brand was successfully launched in Library Coffee Bar earlier in the year and is part of Retail’s plan to create distinct food and drink choices around campus through a balanced mix of University-managed cafes and restaurants and popular high street brands. Since 2019 a number of high street brands are operating at campus including Pret a Manger, Caffe Nero and Aroma.
Vicki Boyd, Head of Retail Service Operations, said: “Starbucks came out as students’ number one coffee brand in recent research carried out by the University, so we know that Starbucks is a brand that students are really passionate about. After the successful trial in Library Coffee Bar, we are really looking forward to launching Starbucks much loved coffee and frappuccino offer in NAIC Cafe.”
NAIC Café is currently open Monday – Friday 8.00am – 2.00pm serving takeout only. From September the café team are planning to provide hot food and open the café so that customers can eat in as well as looking at how to reintroduce bring your own reusable cup safely.
