Rootes Grocery Store delivery
Departmental orders will cease until further notice from Friday 27 June. This is due to the imminent closure of Rootes Grocery Store as it undergoes a full refurbishment and transformation to the University of Warwick’s Co-op. Bulk orders for long-life and non-food items can be placed in the usual way until this time.
Food and drink delivery service
Food and drink, delivered across campus. Our delivery service enables us to fulfil orders more efficiently and help reduce congestion and pollution around campus. Orders are delivered by Warwick Food & Drink.
Minimum order of £50 for delivery or collection.
Delivery charge from £10.00 for all deliveries
You must be available between 9.00am-5.00pm on the day of delivery
Orders must be placed 5 working days in advance

Rootes Grocery Store Closure
Warwick Food Group will be launching a new Co-op franchise store on campus, to replace the current Rootes Grocery Store (RGS), ready for the start of the new academic year. RGS will close for a full refurbishment from Saturday 26 July.

Orders
Departmental orders will cease until further notice from Friday 27 June. Customers will be able to place a bulk order of long-life and non-food items up until Friday 27 June. These items will be delivered week commencing 7 July.
Customers who are ordering fruit baskets for collection from RGS presently, can still maintain this option if they wish to, by prior arrangement, please contact us.
Item purchasing
If there are perishable items that you need to purchase between 27 June and the store closure date (Friday 25 July), you can purchase items in store via vouchers in the normal way or you could look to order via Warwick Food & DrinkLink opens in a new window.
Pop-up shop and vouchers
From Monday 29 July, we will have a pop-up shop open with a reduced range of basic supplies, including sandwiches, bread, milk, drinks, snacks, fruit, tea, coffee and clearance lines. The pop-up store will be located on the ground floor of the SU building, opposite The Finery Barbers. You will be able to purchase items via the voucher system and collect them from the shop. If you need to order a large number of items, for example 10+ vouchers for a lunch value of £5, then please specify the exact date of purchase and choose RGS when creating the voucher on the voucher system. You will also need to email the RGS team with your order so that we can ensure that we have good availability for you on the day.
Co-op
The University of Warwick's Co-op will open ready for the start of the new academic year. As the refurbishment progresses and we have installed and adopted the new systems, we will update you further on how internal orders can be placed in the future. We understand that this service is highly valued amongst our customers and we’ll work hard to continue to deliver this going forward.
How to place an order
1. Download the product list to see what's available to order and their prices. Require something not listed? Please visit Rootes Grocery Store for a larger range of items.
2. Create an order voucher using the Internal Voucher SchemeLink opens in a new window that covers the total value of your order
3. Send us your product list along with few details using the order form. Five working days notice is needed to fulfil an order.
4. We'll contact you to let you know when your order is ready for collection or delivery.
