Recent Changes to the University Calendar
Revisions to Regulation 45
On 12 February 2020, the Council approved amendments to the following University Regulations, with changes taking effect immediately.

- Regulation 45 (Governing Payment of Annual Fees, Residential Charges and Other Debts)
Rationale: Revisions to this regulation including dis-establishing the Non-Study Related Fees (Special Cases) Sub-Committee.
Revisions to Regulation 8.10(5)(a)
On 15 January 2020, the Chair of Senate approved a minor amendment to Regulation 8.10(5)(a) by Chair's action, with changes taking effect on 15 January 2020.
- Regulation 8.10 (Regulations for the Degrees of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery)
Update to the Scheme of Delegation
Section 4.10 was updated in relation to delegations in place for award approvals. Section 5.7 was updated to reflect the changes to the terms of reference of the Financial Plan Sub-Committee, approved by the Finance and General Purposes Committee in November 2019.
Revisions to Regulation 36.4(2)
On 22 November 2019, the Chair of Senate approved an amendment to Regulation 36.4(2) by Chair's action, with changes taking effect from 25 November 2019.
- Regulation 36 (Governing Student Registration, Attendance and Progress)
Rationale: Revisions to this regulation to articulate UKVI requirements more clearly in the regulation.
Scheme of Delegation
On 9 October 2019, the Council approved the introduction of a Scheme of Delegation, outlining responsibilities and delegated authorities for making key decisions in the name of, or on behalf of, the University of Warwick.
