Revisions to Ordinance 13

At its meeting on 6 February 2019, the Council approved for the first time amendments to University Ordinance 13 on Degrees and Diplomas

Rationale: to include the Postgraduate Certificate in Education (and its associated exit qualification). Given the existing differentiation of the PGCE qualification by the University through its examination conventions, and the fact that the specific nature of the PGCE and its exit qualification is recognised nationally, it was proposed that bespoke entries be introduced with immediate effect.

At its meeting on 6 February 2019, the Council approved for the second time amendments to University Ordinance 13 on Degrees and Diplomas

Rationale: to include a new degree title of Master of Science (MSci). This inclusion is necessary to assign the correct degree title to a new degree developed by Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG), which will be offered as an Integrated Masters degree in the area of Technology, Health and Wellbeing Services.
