Assembly Update: October 2018
A meeting of the Assembly at the University took place on 10 October 2018 to consider a motion: ‘Reforming the University of Warwick’s Employment Statute (Statute 24)’. Members were asked to vote on whether to endorse the final report from the Senate Sub-Group on Statute 24 and associated proposals. Following discussion, the motion was passed with a majority (128 for, 61 against and 35 abstention).

The Assembly is not a decision-making body, but it is able to make recommendations to the University Council and the Senate. The outcome of the Assembly meeting will be reported to the forthcoming Council and Senate meetings taking place on 17 October 2018.
