Terms of Reference

    1. To support the delivery of the University’s Education, Employability and Student Recruitment Strategies through the development of institutional strategy and policy on work-based learning and apprenticeship provision.
    2. To steer the diversification of the University’s educational offer through the development of sector-leading apprenticeships and other work-based learning opportunities, in a joined-up and coherent way.
    3. To have responsibility, on behalf of Partnerships Committee, for ensuring the quality and standards of apprenticeship and work-based learning provision, with specific responsibility for the development and monitoring of the institutional SAR and QIP.
    4. To ensure that the university and departments involved in the delivery of apprenticeships and other work-based learning are meeting the requirements and expectations of external quality assurance and regulatory bodies.
    5. To receive updates from the Apprenticeship and Work-based Learning Quality Assurance Group, Apprenticeship and Work-based Learning Operations and Compliance Group, and Apprenticeship Approval Group.
    6. To advise Partnerships Committee about current and future developments in apprenticeships and work-based learning and their alignment with University strategy and policy.
    7. To survey external landscapes to ensure Warwick’s provision is responsive to regional and national contexts.
