Repayment upon resignation
If, having received assistance with removal expenses, an employee decides not to relocate, but to commute daily or moves outside the 20-mile radius, the employee is liable to repay any amount received under this policy.
Where an employee leaves the employment of the University before the end of a fixed-term contract or before the expiry of 3 years where a permanent contract is in place, the employee will be required to repay a proportion of the expenses paid on a pro-rata basis.
