Release notes for web applications
Tabula 2022.10.2 released
We released Tabula 2022.10.2 on Wednesday 12th October 2022. In this version, we:
- Fixed a bug that prevented users viewing timetables for Unitemps staff members.
- Added the ability for students who have failed a course to view their module marks.
Tabula 2022.10.1 released
We released Tabula 2022.10.1 on Wednesday the 5th of October. In this version, we:
- Fixed a bug that caused incorrect grade boundaries to be used in some cases when processing module marks after generating resits.
- Removed a question from the Declare mitigating circumstances form to reflect a change in University policy:
- Students will no longer be asked for consent to allow mitigating circumstances panels to discuss a submission with their Personal Tutor.
- Removed a question from the Declare mitigating circumstances form about whether mitigating circumstances are coronavirus-related:
- The option to report a positive Covid-19 test has been added to the standard list of issues.
- Previously-submitted claims will keep coronavirus-related information on record for reference, but their Covid-related status cannot be changed.
SiteBuilder 2.519 released
We released SiteBuilder 2.519 on Wednesday 12th October 2022. In this version we:
- Fixed a bug that produced an error when trying to view a webgroup's member list when editing page permissions.
- Continued to work on the new Bookings page template. When this is available, we'll provide a detailed summary of the changes on the SiteBuilder noticeboard.
SiteBuilder 2.518 released
We released SiteBuilder 2.518 on Thursday 6th October 2022. In this version:
- We released a new version of the Resource Bookings page template, which replaces the previous version. The new version includes:
- Accessibility improvements to make it easier for users browsing using assistive technologies, such as screen readers, and users browsing using only a keyboard.
- Improved display on small screens, such as mobile devices.
- Easier identification and management of repeated periods of unavailability for editors.
- We fixed some bugs affecting dialogs in SiteBuilder forms, including an issue which prevented users from adding or editing form data sets, and also some problems which affected how those dialogs displayed to form editors (including users in Safari).
- We fixed a bug which prevented users from being able to overwrite files, when selecting to keep the properties of the original file(s).
N.B. Since releasing this change we temporarily restored the previous version of Resource Bookings while investigating some issues. We will re-enable the new version as soon as possible, and provide a more detailed summary of the changes in an upcoming noticeboard post.
Tabula 2022.9.3 released
We released Tabula 2022.9.3 on Wednesday 28th September 2022. In this version, we:
- Fixed an issue on Generate resits pages where long assessment component names pushed other parts of the table out of alignment.
- Fixed a bug that displayed incorrect module results on the Calculate module marks page when resit assessment components differed from original assessment components.
- Fixed a bug that stopped photos from appearing in student information pop-ups.
- Solved an issue that produced an error message if the Save button on Edit small groups > Edit event pages was clicked more than once.
- Fixed a bug that caused problems with the layout of profile pages.
- Made year marks for students who have taken resits visible to them from the relevant release date for resit marks.
- Categorised the bank holiday on 19th September 2022 as a non-working day to ensure accurate calculation of feedback deadlines, for example.
