Section 5 - Vacation Accommodation
Can I stay in my term-time on-campus room during the holidays?
This will depend on the letting period of your contract. The following applies: -
35 week let accommodation: Covers term time as well as Christmas however you will need to vacate your room at Easter (You will need to move out of your accommodation by 10am on the 16 March 2024 and return to your room on the 20 April 2024). You are not able to extend your contract over Easter, you will need to book vacation accommodation through the Student Information Centre designated booking webpage. Your accommodation contract will expire and therefore you will need to fully move out of your accommodation by 10am on the 29 June 2024.
38 week let accommodation: You will be able to stay in your room during term time and throughout Christmas and Easter holidays. You will need to move out of your accommodation by 10am on the 15 June 2024.
40 week let accommodation: You will be able to stay in your room during term time and throughout Christmas and Easter holidays. You will need to move out of your accommodation by 10am on the 29 June 2024.
44 week let accommodation: Covers term time and Christmas and Easter vacation, you will need to move out of your accommodation by 10am on the 27 July 2024.
50 week let accommodation: You can stay in your room during term time, Christmas, Easter, and summer vacation, and will need to move out of your accommodation by 10am on the 7 September 2024.

Where can I stay during the vacation?
Vacation accommodation is available during vacation times (Easter & Summer only) consisting of a limited amount of rooms. These rooms are located in on-campus rooms and are only available to Warwick students that have a valid ITS account. Prices are as follows: -

Room rate is determined by the hall being used for vacation accommodation.
STANDARD ROOM (Shared bathroom and kitchen facilities)- Easter 2024 = £17 per night, Summer 2024 = £18 per night
EN-SUITE ROOM (Shared kitchen facilities) Available during summer only- Summer 2024 = £26 per night.
Vacation accommodation must be booked and paid for on the Student Information Centre website. Further information will be available when the booking site opens, which is approximately week 8 of term 2 for Easter vacation accommodation and week 8 of term 3 for summer vacation accommodation.
Easter 2024 vacation accommodation dates | 16 March from 15:00 - 19 April, departure at 10:00
Summer 2024 vacation accommodation dates | 29 June from 15:00 - 12 September, departure at 10:00
A three consecutive night minimum stay applies. Rooms are limited and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
What is the room allocation process for vacation accommodation?
We try not to pre-allocate rooms. When you come to the Student Information Centre (Ground Floor Senate House) to collect your keys you will be given the first key available. If you wish to be close to a friend then you and your friend should have the same arrival date.
Please make sure you have made this request on your online booking, and come to the Student Information Centre at the same time, otherwise, there is no guarantee you will be allocated next to each other.
During busier arrival days pre-allocation may be implemented to provide a quicker check in process
