GoodCourse Modules

We are committed to creating a culture of inclusion, where diversity is recognised, understood, and valued. By providing diversity and inclusion learning programmes, we hope to engage with staff on realising the benefits that diversity and inclusion brings.

It is important for colleagues to refresh their inclusion training and knowledge, as legislation, terminology, and best practice progress regularly. Which is why we have partnered with GoodCourse to deliver micro-learning inclusion training modules that will be relevant and engaging for all staff, and which will support continuous learning and discussion on these important issues. Our role as Warwick employees goes beyond the day-to-day tasks of our job – it extends to treating each other with respect and taking active steps to learn about different people and different experiences to our own. That’s why all Warwick employees are strongly encouraged to take part in four new equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) training modules which will be delivered straight to your email and take less than 10 minutes to complete.


Inclusion and Hybrid Working - Module 4

The best talent will choose organisations that prioritise where their employees work best.

We all need to consider what matters to us personally to ensure we can have a positive work life balance, and as an employer understand what matters to our employees:

  • Employee Experience - How important is inclusion in the workplace to you, do you work flexibly, do you work hybrid?
  • Managers - Have you thought about your teams experience, is there more than can be done?
  • Employee productivity - should the focus be less on presenteeism, and more on outputs?
  • Recruiting Managers - recruitment and retention - Inclusive recruitment - recruiting the best talent, regardless of location and retaining the best staff.

Over the last couple of years we have been working with GoodCourse to deliver short (8-10 minute) courses. All content is focussed on creating a safe, inclusive culture for staff and so far topics have included Harassment, Multigenerational Workforce, Neurodiversity, EDI Fundamentals, and Conscious Inclusion.

Feedback has been very positive and completion rates are between 60 - 70%.
