What are the aims of the network?

The Professional Services make up a large body of staff at Warwick whose work has a direct, or indirect, impact on students’ day to day experience of studying at university. The new network seeks to:

• Celebrate and champion the role played by our professional services in contributing to students’ experience
• Share expertise, good practice and ideas for enhancing the student experience, focusing on key themes
• Increase connectedness and collaboration between central and departmental professional services teams
• Raise common challenges and develop collaborative ideas
• Dissect the bigger picture – the factors affecting the Higher Education sector and Warwick itself – and play a collective role in the shaping of the Warwick student experience
• Hear from external and internal speakers
• Enjoy time together to learn and reflect

Who is the network aimed at?

The new network, and conference events, are for the ‘do-ers’ – staff and teams both in student-facing roles, and behind the scenes, who plan and deliver the services that contribute to students’ daily life at Warwick.

Departmental Directors of Student Experience are also warmly welcomed to the event and network, recognising that joining up work on the student experience is key to success.
