The PTES survey is for students studying a programme of at least 60 credits, the greater part of which is at M level and taught.

For particular groups of students the Advance HE guidance is that institutions should not include:

• Students who are studying a single module only, such as CPD students

It is up to institutions if they wish to include:

• part-time students in their first year of study
• january starting students;
• Professional Doctorate students.

We will include all part time students in their first year of study and January starting students unless the department wishes to exclude them. Please contact us if that is the case by 6th March 2020.
