Personal Interests
Volunteering
I volunteer for the Mid-Warwickshire branch of the Cats Protection, a cause very close to my heart as my husband and I adopted our rescue cat Minty from them in 2011. My duties involve helping out at fundraising events, transporting cats to homes and vets and collecting donations for the CP shop in Leamington Spa when people have items to donate but are unable to transport them. I have also fundraised for Marie Curie in the past through taking part in their annual swimathon.

Travelling
I really enjoy exploring new places and sampling different cultures and have been very fortunate to have visted many countries throughout my life. My parents are keen travellers and they have definitely passed the bug on to me. My favourite trips were when I travelled around the world before going to university and then when I travelled across America after I finished my undergraduate degree. I also lived in Saudi Arabia for 6 years where I gained a great insite into the Middle East and many different cultures as I went to an international school which had students from over 60 different countries. Here are some photos from a few of my favourite places.
The Grand Canyon and Yosemite National Park, USA
Hawaii and New Orleans, USA
Caribbean Coast, Mexico, and Jersey, Channel Islands
Lake Tekapo, New Zealand and Sydney, Australia
Baking
I love baking cakes and cupcakes for friends and family and attending classes to improve my skills.
