He divides his time between educating and inspiring future leaders, his business and consulting. His focus is on developing a core purpose for all involved, to transform supply chains, leadership and businesses for the greater good, both locally and globally.

Dave Food is a Postgraduate Lecturer and consultant on Supply Chain, a technology advisor with a number of participators. He has extensive, long-term expertise in Supply Chain leadership roles; for the last decade, he has been providing advisory services to leadership roles ranging from innovative companies to market leaders, advising start-ups who are significant providers in areas such as machine learning, advanced analytics, and extended visibility solutions.

He has been providing future insight on Supply Chain strategy, systems and solution usage enabling Supply Chain Change and team process improvement. He is particularly interested in how companies can become disruptive through the leveraging of emerging technologies and approaches.

As a business catalyst and educator for Software and Technology, Dave has over 35 years of marketing and commercial experience working in roles in Consultancy, Marketing, Education, Business Development, General Management, Sales Leadership, Supply Chain, Alliances and Pre-Sales. In that time, he has gained significant business acumen and extensive knowledge and experience of working at C-Level on Business Solutions, Marketing, Change Management, Supply Chain strategies and practice,

As an outsourced provider of market development to a number of software and consultancy houses, Dave brings a wealth of experience to sales programs and market engagement strategies around a range of solutions, in the arena of Procurement, Automated Marketing, Supply Chain Planning and Customer Relationship Management; he has made a wide range of contributions to business propositions, executive white papers, conference presentations and research projects.

Dave is a creative communicator developing, designing and delivering provocative, engaging lectures and conference presentations on thought-leading and groundbreaking approaches to Supply Chain. His involvement in research every year touches upon Supply Chain Planning, Sustainability, Disruptive Technologies, Marketing and New Learning Practices.

When joining with a number of software houses, lead generation was about quantity, not quality, attendance, not significance. Dave used his extensive network and marketing experience for a small additional business cost to create C-Level points of entry into accounts. This enabled those software houses to quickly dialogue on business case and ROI at the board level, locking out the competition and reducing the sales cycle, increasing the deal value, even in times of downturn. Opening up deals with Diageo, Vodafone, Orange, and Network Rail.

More recently Dave has been seen as a change agent in helping businesses to move to deliver significant value to their target markets through informed and animated presentations, dynamic marketing strategies and workshops on Leadership, Strategy and various Supply Chain topics to a number of thought leaders and innovators in the UK, Europe and beyond.
