Free English Language workshop for English Language teachers

We’d like to invite all English Language teachers to a free half-day English Language workshop hosted by Applied Linguistics at the University of Warwick on Thursday 29th March 2018, from 10am (registration and coffee from 9.30) until 1pm.

Grammar Basics (Part One)

Tilly Harrison, Principal Teaching Fellow, Applied Linguistics

Grammar has a reputation for being boring and pointless. It is also a source of anxiety of teachers who were not formally taught grammar at school themselves. This workshop aims to revitalise the subject for you and give you confidence in your knowledge of the usual terms and concepts involved. You will be given resources that you can immediately use in your English Language classes.

Lunch will be provided from 1pm to 2pm, which will also be a chance to network. We will be in touch nearer the time with room information and directions.

If you and/or your colleagues would like to attend, please fill in this booking form by Thursday 22nd March 2018.
