An invitation to Teachers of Religious Education!
We would like to invite you to attend: Exploring Faith(s) in ‘Post-Secular’ Societies: A Forum for Public Engagement with Religion, a one-day event which will take place on Wednesday 18 May 2016 at the University of Warwick, in the Scarman House conference facilities, 10:30 am to 3 pm.
This event aims to draw together academics, secondary and primary teachers, community workers, local government, members of faith groups and interfaith forums and others. The aim of the day will be to explore how academic and non-academics can work together, embedding academic research in a meaningful way in cross-sector projects that engage faith communities, promote interfaith work and enrich educational theory and practice.
Food, refreshments and parking are free, though delegates must cover their own travel costs. Registration is essential. Please see the webpage: http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/fac/arts/modernlanguages/people/academic/jameshodkinson/exploringfaith/
For further details and, if interested, please register for his event by Monday 2nd May, 2016 at the very latest.
