Warwick Chemistry has an active outreach programme for both primary and secondary schools. Coordinated by our enthusiastic outreach officer Nick Barker and our academic staff. They have compiled a selection of videos outlining some simple experiments suitable for primary school students that demonstrate various fundamental principles of science. For each of the videos, a pdf document can be downloaded containing a set of detailed instructions and suggested improvements / challenges for the students.
The Centre for Lifelong Learning, supported by funding from the National Environment Research Council (NERC), have prepared a range of free and accessible materials for parents and teachers to help explain basic scientific concepts and try them out at home. All are available below as pdf documents which you are free to use and share - images are used under Creative Commons' licences.
