Next Steps

1. Pay your deposit

To secure your place at the Warwick Pre-University Summer School, you are required to pay a £1,000 deposit. To make your payment, please use the payment link in the offer email we sent to you.

2. Fill out enrolment formsLink opens in a new window (May)

There are some important forms that we need you and your parents to complete before you can join the course. These will be emailed to you prior to the course start date and added to the Offer Holder page.

3. Apply for Visa

A Visit Visa permits the following types of study in the UK, for up to six months duration. We will specify in your offer email if you will require a visa or ETA.

There are some exceptions to this, and some students will instead need to apply for an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA)Link opens in a new window - including students from Europe travelling to the UK on or after 2 April 2025.

*Please note that students cannot apply for their visa until 3 months before the course start date.

4. Making Travel Plans

Students are expected to arrive for the programme on Tuesday 15 July 12 pm-4 pm, and to depart from campus no later than 9:30 am on Friday 25 July.

Please note that we are unable to take on safeguarding responsibilities for your child if their stay in the UK extends beyond the programme. Please also be aware that hotels in the UK do not typically allow those under 18 to check into a room without a guardian.

There will be airport pick-ups on Tuesday 15 July from London Heathrow and from Birmingham International Airport. There will be airport drop-offs on Friday 25 July to London Heathrow, dropping off at 10 am and to Birmingham International Airport, dropping off at 9 am.

Birmingham Airport is the nearest to campus so if you can travel there it will shorten your journey to campus considerably. You must book and pay for airport pick-ups and drop-offs in advance.

We recommend waiting to book your flights until you have your visa if you require one.

5. Finalise your payment

Final payments are to be made by 6 June 2025.

6. Book airport transfer service

We know that there is a lot of information to process, so we will hold online pre-departure briefings for all paid (fully or deposit) Warwick Pre-University Summer School offer holder students and/or parents closer to the course start date. We will email you with a range of dates to book onto.

Read the Course Handbook

You will receive our digital handbook before you join us. We recommend that you read the course handbook ahead of your arrival for the course, as there is lots of useful information included that will help you to settle in quickly.
