Entry Requirements: Students applying for this programme must be aged 16-17 and considering applying or have already applied to university. There are no subject specific criteria but they should be passionate and enthusiastic learners.

The application process is very straightforward, students should apply online and upload the required documents. Students will need to pay a £50 application fee when they apply for this programme. We aim to make offer decisions quickly, typically within 3-5 working days.

Once an offer is made, students have the choice to pay in full or pay a £1000 deposit in order to secure their place (remaining balance due by 7 June 2024). Students requiring visas will be sent visa invitation letters once a payment has been made.

Places are available on a first-come-first-served basis so we encourage applications and deposits as soon as possible to secure a place.

Safety and Wellbeing

We understand that joining our Pre-University Summer School means travelling and living independently away from parents/guardians, so we have lots of information on our webpages to reassure students and families about the support and safety measures that we have in place for the programme.

During their time at the Pre-University Summer School, students will be looked after by a core team of staff trained in safeguarding students of this age. Key staff involved in the delivery of the Summer School will also be fully DBS* checked.

In addition, students will be allocated Student Ambassadors, current Warwick students (minimum of one ambassador per group of 12 students) who will accompany the students on social programmes and trips and stay overnight in halls to ensure the safety of the students, whether on campus or elsewhere. You can find out more about the Summer School Ambassadors on these pagesLink opens in a new window.

Students will also be provided with emergency contact details of Warwick staff and support services who will be contactable 24 hours, 7 days a week.
