Can I apply for a place after my gap year?

We welcome applications from candidates who wish to take a year off between school and university.

It is helpful to selectors if you make clear in your UCAS application your reasons for wishing to defer entry, and explain how you intend to spend your time.

If you plan to work in an area related to your degree subject or to travel to develop a foreign language, this may strengthen your application.
