Some changes to content:

Study Abroad section

  • Deleted "Study abroad with Classics" link

Modules section

  • Deleted replicated modules (Roman Culture and Socielt / Greek Culture and Society
  • Updated links in modules in 'Mode of Reading' and 'Epic into Novel' to link to 22/23 versions:
  • Added "You are required to take half your modules from each deaprtment, including at least 30 CATS focussing on Latin literature in the original".to Year Two optional modules
  • Added "and modules chosen from the Classics and English Departments.

Assessment

New text:
Different modules include a variety of forms of assessment, including traditional essays, written examinations, close reading exercises, creative projects, portfolios, video-essays, blogs, and films.

Old Text:
You will take four modules each year (or the equivalent in credits), the assessment of which is generally equally divided between essays submitted during the year and exams in the summer (100% exam for language modules).

Typical contact hours

New text:

You will take four modules per term, each with 2 to 3 contact hours per week, and more for your language modules.

Old text:
You will take four modules or the equivalent in credits, each with 2 to 3 contact hours per week, and more for your language modules.
