Due to the English requirements having changed, we removed the sentence about English Language requirements from the A level typical offer:

A level additional information

New:

You will need grade 7 or A at GCSE in a modern or classical language.

Old:

You will need grade 7 or A at GCSE in a modern or classical language. You will also need grade 6/B in GCSE English Language. Applicants with grade 6/B in GCSE English Literature and minimum grade 4/C in GCSE English Language may also be considered.

Additionally, the English Language requirements section on the same page was updated, to refer to Band B instead of Band C.

Previous content:

Class sizes

Our Year One seminars usually have no more than 14 students. Our Year Two and Three seminars usually have no more than 18 students. Lecture sizes vary.

Amended to:

Class sizes

Lecture sizes vary. Lectures are typically accompanied by seminar teaching which allows you to discuss and consolidate your learning.
