We have updated the wording for the entry requirements for applicants who only have one essential subject.
Old A Level content
Applicants with a strong profile who are studying one from A level Physics or A level Mathematics may be considered.
New A Level content
Applicants with a strong overall academic profile who are studying one from A level Physics and A level Mathematics may be considered subject to the overall competitiveness of the cohort.
Old IB content
38 to include 6,6,6 at Higher Level and 6,6 in Mathematics and Physics, at least one of which is at Higher Level.
New IB content
38 to include 6,6,6 in three subjects at Higher Level including Mathematics and Physics.
Applicants who are studying one of Mathematics or Physics at Higher Level and the other at Standard Level may be considered where they demonstrate a strong overall academic profile, subject to the overall competitiveness of the cohort.
Old BTEC content
We welcome applications from students who offer a combination of relevant BTEC and A level subjects. Applicants with a strong profile taking BTEC alongside A level Mathematics, Further Mathematics or Physics may be considered.
New BTEC content
We welcome applications from students who offer a combination of relevant BTEC and A level subjects. Applicants with a strong profile taking BTEC alongside A level Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Physics may be considered.
Applicants with a strong overall academic profile taking BTEC alongside one from A level Physics and A level Mathematics may be considered subject to the overall competitiveness of the cohort.
