The University of Warwick imagery

Learn about the photography styles we employ as a brand to help capture a sense of community and the authenticity of everyone at The University of Warwick.

Reportage photography

Our reportage photography reflects the diversity of our people, capturing them naturally in their daily environment.

This is our primary image style to be used in the majority of our communications.

It has the flexibility to show real moments, real people and real places in an authentic way.

This photography should feel warm, friendly and fresh, like a snapshot into real University life. It also works well to reflect our research and links with industry.

Portrait photography

Our portrait photography shows our people in a candid, unstaged way so their personality shines through.

This style is generally reserved for campaigns and focused communications, but is a nice complement to the reportage style. It can be introduced more widely over time to add personality and authenticity.

Environment photography

We are immensely proud of our campus. The buildings, spaces and equipment all play their part in the success of our students and the research we undertake.

As an extension of our reportage style, our environment can be captured showing natural moments of people interacting with our award-winning spaces or conducting key research in our world-leading facilities.
