Breaking Barriers: The Militant Struggle for Women's Votes
‘Breaking Barriers’ is an archival research project centred around the lives and stories of working-class figures from the Suffragette Movement.
This project reflects on the suffragette movement from a new angle, amplifying the voices of overlooked figures such as the working-class and ethnic minorities.
The output of the project has been presented in three ways:
- An Interactive online exhibition
- Social Media Account
- Methodological essay
