Obverse
- Augustus (on the left) being crowned by the goddess Victory (on the right) with a wreath.
- Legend IMP CAESAR DIVI F AVGVSTVS COS IX (Imp(erator) Caesar Divi f(ilius) Augustus Co(n)s(ul) IX).
- Translation Emperor Caesar, son of the divine, Augustus, consul for the ninth time.
Reverse
- Julia and Marcellus two busts facing one another, Julia on the right and Marcellus on the left. The coin celebrates their marriage as it was struck the same year.
- Legend M ACILIVS GLABRIO PRO COS (M(arcus) Acilius Glabrio pro Co(n)s(ule))
- Translation Marcus Acilius Glabrio, proconsul.
