Summary
Level:
You may have studied the language at school some years ago or attended a beginners' course of approximately 50 hours. You have a fair vocabulary and some understanding of basic structures. You can just about cope with predictable situations but you need confidence in other contexts. We have covered the Present tense and begin with the Future tense then continue to the Past. We take up the text book at chapter 9.
Main Objectives:
The course will introduce new tenses and help you to communicate in everyday social or work situations and hopes to expand your general fluency in the language.
Teaching:
1 x 2 hour class per week plus some independent learning.

Course Description
Based on a step-by-step approach, the course is divided into areas each of which focuses on practical, useful and manageable language.
Aspects of Greek culture are shared and enjoyed.
You will have access to online resources for a more independent learning.
Homework tasks will be set each week to consolidate what you have learnt in class.

- travel plans;
- families;
- celebrations;
- likes and dislikes and opinions;
- holiday plans;
- expressing wishes, needs and desires;
- what we used to do and what it was like in the good old days.
Grammar
There is a general expansion of basic vocabulary, language use and structures including;
- question forms;
- future tense;
- past tense;
- possessives;
- direct and indirect objects;
- introduction to modal constructions;
- adjectives: comparatives-superlatives;
- adverbs.

- listening, speaking, reading and writing.
