Event overview

This social and informative event specifically designed for the current PGT students in the Faculty of Arts will highlight the valuable connections between a mix of people from across the Arts students. This event aims to invoke a sense of meeting at a crossroads to share diverse ideas over coffee and refreshment. This occasion aims to foster a sense of community and facilitate meaningful connections across disciplines.

PGR Spotlight

Current doctoral candidates from across departments share their personal PhD journeys, offering a valuable opportunity for PGT students to ask questions, seek advice, and learn from those who have successfully navigated the challenges of doctoral research.

"Who, What, Where, Why"

Explore the skill/art of pitching ideas in an engaging and informative workshop. Learn valuable communication skills and discover how to articulate ideas effectively, providing a chance for PGT students to practice pitching in a supportive/creative environment.

coffee

Networking

Dedicated networking session with tea and coffee, faciliating exchanging information, ideas, and perhaps even laying the foundation for future interdisciplinary collaborations between PGT, PGR, and staff attendees.
