Professional Staff - Training for Front-line Staff on Sexual Misconduct Disclosure - CANCELLED

This one hour session offered by Helen Knee, Director of Student Discipline and Resolution is offered twice on 16 March. The session will talk through how to identify sexual misconduct and deal with student disclosure.
These sessions are also offered to staff from other faculties and departments.

Professional Staff - Student Wellbeing Support Workshop - Faculty of Arts Only
22 April 2020 - 13.00 - 15.00 Venue to be confirmed
This workshop will cover elements of understanding metal health as well as skills to help staff signpost effectively. It is specifically designed for professional staff supporting students and will be delivered by Rebecca Webb and Chantal Johnston from Wellbeing Services.
It runs for two hours and covers the following areas:
- Develop confidence in identifying student wellbeing needs
- Gain clarity about how and when to escalate student wellbeing needs
- Gain an understanding of the support available for students and staff
