Department alumnus Rachel Wood speaks at Graduation on Monday 17th July

The Department is delighted to be welcoming back Rachel Wood (Class of 2010) as the Alumni Speaker at Graduation this coming Monday 17th July! Rachel is currently working as a Senior Producer at Sky News and will be sharing her experiences as a Warwick Graduate at the ceremony!

Warwick named 2nd in the Guardian 2018 league table for Media and Film Studies with an overall score of 99%.

The Warwick Film and Television Studies Dept. has come 2nd in the Guardian 2018 league table for Media and Film Studies, with an overall score of 99%. The University of Warwick came 8th in the overall university league table.

Dr. Paul Cuff features on new BFI Napoleon Blu-ray/DVD

The British Film Institute has released a momentus new restoration of Abel Gance's masterpiece Napoleon (1927) on Blu-ray/DVD, and Department Associate Fellow Dr. Paul Cuff, who is a world-leading expert on the film, features heavily in the extras: including an essay on the film, an interview with composer Carl Davis, and a full-length audio commentary (which at 332 minutes, we believe may be a record for a single film).
