Background
I was born in an autonomous region of a Zhuang minority in China and lived in Beijing as an ethnic minority for ten years until I migrated to England as an ethnic minority again about eight years ago. I received my secondary and higher education in China and England, respectively. My education background combines human capital management, finance and cross-cultural studies.

Research overview
I am a first-year PhD student in the GSD Department at the University of Warwick. Dr Xiaodong Lin and Dr Mandy Sadan supervise my research. My provisional thesis is titled: 'Life experience of Chinese millennials migrants in UK' and explores the Young Chinese's interpretation of identity and sense of belonging. Based on my own life and in-depth experience within the small communities, my research aims to deconstruct and understand the myth about this most emerging transnational migrant group in the UK in the context of the ongoing pandemic and sino-west conflict.
