Our Sustainability Spotlight focuses on ‘sustaining life’ from a planetary perspective, and includes focus inter alia on complex environmental systems, and resilient and more-than-human communities of relations.

This Spotlight brings together researchers from across the University and beyond, to undertake cutting-edge sustainability research from an interdisciplinary perspective.

We work with policy-makers, businesses, industry and schools. Through collaboration, we aim to address the social, economic and environmental challenges of creating more sustainable alternative futures, together.

We prioritise work with Early Career Researchers, through our internationally recognised Sustainability Training School to raise the next generation of responsible and ethical researchers committed to sustainability.
