The murder of George Floyd (and so many others) has affected all of us. We understand that some of you in our community have been particularly hurt by this. Racism is a systemic feature of our society, and this is not limited to what has been happening in the United States in the past few weeks and over the years.

Here in the School for Cross-faculty Studies, we are strongly against any type of racist activity and we commit to an anti-racist culture and education.

National Student Survey now open to finalists

Your feedback helps to shape our Liberal Arts degree and the wider University at Warwick for future generations

  • NSS is a national survey of final year undergraduates at all UK universities, run independently by Ipsos Mori
  • The survey asks for your views on your whole course and covers teaching, assessment, resources and support
  • You'll be able to claim £5 credit on your Eating at Warwick card for completing the survey
  • After consultation with the SSLC, the Liberal Arts Department has chosen to make a donation of £5 to IntoUniversity per survey completed
  • The survey is open from Monday 3 February 2020 and takes ten minutes to fill in
  • Your personalised link will be emailed to you on Thursday 6 February 2020 or go direct to thestudentsurvey.com

The NSS is a really important way for you to reflect on your experience at Liberal Arts. It’s a great opportunity to think about what you found productive or enjoyable, and it gives you a way to make suggestions for our continuous improvement. We take your responses seriously: from last year’s NSS we set up more of a focus on equality (including putting more work into our ongoing efforts to diversify, liberate, and decolonize the curriculum); we worked to provide more library resources, and we worked closely with the Liberal Arts Society to improve the buddy system for incoming first years.

To find out more about NSS and how your feedback can make a difference to the University, please see here
