Call for Proposals

Call for Proposals - Now Open

 #WarwickTEALfest

We welcome submissions from colleagues at Warwick and beyond, that relate to the following types of small teaching:

  • Brief in-session or blended learning activities: Small interventions in a learning session (in-person or online) or a blended learning activity to achieve a particular objective. This could include things like capturing (or recapturing) the attention of students, encouraging a sense of belonging and community, getting to know students, providing quick opportunities for student engagement, introducing or consolidating new learning.
  • Small interventions in a module, programme or extended learning experience: Small-scale interventions that may relate to a small portion of a module, programme or extended learning experience for a specific purpose. This might include things like incorporating opportunities for interdisciplinary learning experiences within one or two sessions or blended learning activities, redesigning a session or activity to enhance inclusivity, co-creating an aspect of the curriculum, utilising approaches to support student wellbeing.
  • Small modifications in module or programme design, assessment or communication with your students: Small changes that are working towards certain objectives but do not require radical re-thinking of your module, programme or extended learning experience design. This might include the way you structure learning experiences, work with assessments, collaborate or co-create elements of the curriculum with students, engage other stakeholders, enhance community communications.
