Mature Student Experience
The Mature Student Experience Learning Circle will inform institutional deliberations on issues of mature students' access and experiences of a Warwick education as related to teaching and learning. We will utilise our experience of teaching and supporting mature students as well as expertise in the field of lifelong learning, to inform and develop current Warwick policy/practice in this area. There is an identifiable gap as evidenced by:
- The University's ambitions for its newly implemented Education and Experience Strategy that recognises the need to not only diversify the student body, but also provide a Warwick Education that supports diverse student communities, and champion lifelong and flexible learning
- The revised University's Access and Participation Plan 2025-26 in which mature students have been identified as one of the student groups most at risk in terms of access and completion
For more information or to join the Learning Circle, please contact Anil Awesti (a.k.awesti@warwick.ac.uk) and Nalita James (Nalita.James@warwick.ac.uk).
