Presenter guidance

Formats

  • Oral Presentation- 7-minute presentation followed by 2-3 minutes Q&A.
  • Poster Presentation- A0 poster, to be printed by delegates.
  • Workshop- 45-minute workshops to increase knowledge and skills.

 

Guidance Oral Presentation presenters

1. If using slides for presenting, please use PowerPoint.

2. Ensure presentations are designed with accessibility in mind - see guidance here.

3. Izzy will email you and ask you to send slides before the day (approximately 3 days before).

4. Slides for your session will be pre-uploaded onto the desktop.

5. Please let us know if you have any accessibility requirements.

6. You will have 7 mins to present and 3 mins for Q&A.

7. There will be someone in the room to help with timings

8. We are doing pre-registrations for sessions to let you know the audience size, but we predict these may vary from 10-40.

Guidance for Poster Presentation

1. A0 poster, to be printed by delegates (portrait preference)

2. Drop poster at registration desk

3. We will put posters up for you.

4. Please be present at your poster during the afternoon break, 3.30-4.00

Workshop

3. Policy, Power, and Practice: Institutional Policies and Their Impact, Accessibility vs. Accommodation, and Neurodivergence and Equity in Academic Leadership

4. Transitions and Belonging: Transitioning Into, Though, and Out of Higher Education, Sense of Belonging, Community, and Social Inclusion, and Support Networks and Peer-Led Initiatives.

5. Research and Methodology: Neurodivergent-led or Participatory Research Approaches, Ethical Considerations in Neurodiversity Research, and Challenges and Innovations in Researching Neurodiversity in HE.
