Session summary
This session asks student panellists drawn from across the University with a variety of different perspectives, what they consider to be ‘everyday excellence’.
This kick-off session situates the student voice right at the very heart of the event and the conversation about ‘everyday excellence’ and helps us answer the question 'are we rewarding the things that matter most to students in promotions and prizes?'
Sessions aims
- This session explores the definition of ‘everyday excellence’ from the perspectives of a range of students and explores examples to understand better what it does and, importantly, what it doesn’t mean to students.
- The session will also explore what students know and understand about WATE and associated prizes to form some understanding of how best to recognise contribution of staff and students in a meaningful way.
