Information for participants

What is listening@Warwick?

Listening is one of the most important and underestimated element of communication. It gives cause to be present, pay attention, connect and empower others. This project harnesses the power of listening to learn more about how the pivot to online and blended learning in response to the Covid-19 pandemic has been experienced by staff and students in the Social Science Faculty during the academic year 2020/21.

It creates a virtual “listening room” in which a series of recorded and edited conversations between pairs of students and between pairs of teaching staff, which form the basis of a shared conversation, shared listening, to produce a blueprint for future education at Warwick.

The podcast

From these conversations we will produce a series of podcasts on the themes which emerge through exploration of these twinned conversations. We invite the Warwick community to listen – and to join the conversation via Twitter.

For more details please read the participant information sheet for students or the participant information sheet for staff and complete the listening@warwick expression of interest form.

If you have any questions please contact the Project Lead: Dr Jennie Mills via email at j.mills.3@warwick.ac.uk or the project team at Listening@Warwick.ac.uk.
