In my monograph, I explored the transition from innocence and ignorance to experience and knowledge in twentieth-century dystopian fiction, discussing Katharine Burdekin's Swastika Night (1937), Anthony Burgess's The Wanting Seed (1962), and P. D. James's The Children of Men (1992). I was the Principal Investigator of the project entitled Futuristic Narratives in Turkish Literature: 1950-2021: Speculation in the Anthropocene. This project discussed Turkish futuristic narratives and speculation in the Anthropocene, covering the period between 1950 and 2021. This project received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement No 945380.
