Four Warwick Academics Receive IAS Interdisciplinary Research Development Awards

The IAS has recently awarded four new Interdisciplinary Research Development Awards to support Warwick academics.

The successful applicants are:

  • Dr Dimitra Hartas (Education Studies) “Establishing a Neuro-Affirmative Parenting (NAP) Network to support research, policy and advocacy”
  • Dr Freya Verlander (Theatre Studies) “Performance and Medical Response: Skin, SFX, and Diagnostics”
  • Dr Modupe Jimoh (Engineering) “WADECOP+: Strengthening the Water for Development Community of Practice network”
  • Dr Oluwatosin Orababa (Life Sciences) “Assessing the role of multidrug efflux pumps in S. aureus chronic wound infection”

The IRDA scheme offers up to £5000 to support the development of new interdisciplinary research ideas and collaborations at Warwick and the next call for applications will open on 3/11/2025 with a deadline for submissions on 15/12/2025.
