ICUR receives honourable mention in Awards for Innovation in International Education
ICUR (The International Conference of Undergraduate Research) has received an Honorable Mention for Warwick in the 'International Partnerships' category in this year's awards from the Institute of International Education (IEE).
Student as Producer Performance of The Bed of Passage
26 & 27 November 2016, 19:30 | Humanities Studio, University of Warwick
The Bed of Passage is an original play written and directed by Christophe Locatelli and has been funded by an IATL Student as Producer (Performance) grant. It depicts an intimate conversation between a couple in bed that turns into a journey of personal and emotional discovery. Intense and powerful, interspersed with moments of bittersweet humour, this is a production not to be missed.
BLASTER team to take part in five-day 'Best Practice in Undergraduate Research' training event
Warwick members of the BLASTER (Best Liberal Arts and Science Teaching Expanded and Reinforced) project, funded through Erasmus +, will be at Leuphana University, Germany, in October, where staff and student experts from European partner institutions will showcase best practice in undergraduate research, and form small research teams to continue the exploration of innovations in this area.
Warwick Awards for Teaching Excellence
Recognise someone who has made a difference in teaching and learning at Warwick by nominating them for a Teaching Excellence Award. Members of staff and postgraduates who teach are eligible to be nominated. Make your nomination by Wednesday 16 March 2016.
Posters in Parliament
IATL staff were delighted to accompany Akira Tiele (Engineering) and Alice Brazil-Burns (Theatre and Performance Studies) to Posters in Parliament on 2 February 2016, where they presented their work to MPs, and staff and students from 25 universities. Congratulations to Akira, who won the Highly Commended accolade.
Launch of the Warwick International Higher Education Academy
The Academy, which aims to transform the student experience at Warwick through partnership and collaboration between educators and students, will be formally launched at the Teaching and Learning Showcase on Thursday May 7th.
Times Higher Education Student Experience Survey 2015 results
IATL congratulates the University on the results of the 2015 Times Higher Education Student Experience Survey, which saw the University move up an incredible nine places this year.
Warwick students present research at Posters in Parliament event
Zoe Kristensen and M.B. Che Rozenan displayed their work, on 'Gender Dysphoria and the Autistic Spectrum: A Study of Co-incidence' and 'Understanding the X-Ray Emission of our Galaxy' respectively, at this event, which is now in its second year.
