AAMAS 2027 - Call for AAAI Fast Track

AAMAS 2027 invites submissions to its AAAI Track. This track considers papers that were submitted to the AAAI-27 Main Technical Track, were not accepted, and are relevant to the AAMAS research community.

To be eligible, a submission must not have received a reject recommendation from any AAAI reviewer; all review scores must be weak reject or above. Authors are expected to revise their manuscripts to address the AAAI reviewers’ comments and to reformat the paper according to the AAMAS submission requirements.

All submitted materials will be checked for accuracy against the corresponding AAAI submission and reviewed by members of the AAMAS Program Committee. We expect to accept only a fraction of the submitted papers. Decisions will be accompanied by a short meta-review explaining the basis for acceptance or rejection.

Important Dates

• Submission Deadline: Friday, December 11, 2026
• Decision Notification: February 1, 2027
• Camera-Ready Deadline: February 11, 2027
• Author Registration Deadline: March 31, 2027

All deadlines are at the end of the specified day, anywhere on Earth (UTC-12).

Submission Requirements

An AAMAS AAAI Track submission must be based on a paper that:

1. was submitted to the AAAI-27 Main Technical Track;
2. received no reject recommendation from any reviewer and received only review scores of weak reject or above; and
3. is relevant to the AAMAS research community.

Authors must submit a single PDF document through the AAAI Track Submission Website (The submission portal will be made available soon).

The PDF must include the following materials, in this order:

1. The original AAAI-27 submission.
2. All AAAI review scores and reviews, including the meta-review.
3. The revised paper submitted to AAMAS, formatted according to the AAMAS 2027 Main Technical Track submission requirements; all changes from the original AAAI submission should be clearly highlighted, for example using colored text or yellow highlighting.
4. A response of at most two pages explaining how the revised submission addresses the AAAI reviewers’ comments.
5. A short statement explaining why the paper is relevant to the AAMAS research community and identifying the most appropriate area of interest from the AAMAS 2027 Main Technical Track Call for Papers.
