PhD Title: Diamond-doped silica aerogels for geoengineering

PhD Project: The aim is to prepare a non-toxic aerosol material that would reflect the Sunlight. This would be enabled by using diamond particles (with high refractive index) dispersed in silica aerogels (with low density) to allow longer aerosol life without settling down.
