Women in STEM Submissions

The School of Engineering holds an Athena Swan Silver charter mark. The Athena Swan Charter is a framework used across the globe to support and transform gender equality within higher education (HE) and research. Established in 2005 to encourage and recognise the commitment to advancing women's careers in science, technology, engineering, maths and medicine (STEMM) employment, the Charter is now being used across the globe to address gender equality more broadly and not just barriers to progression that affect women.

We are currently working on updating the Athena Swan page and would like to ask for your contributions. Mainly we are interested in revamping our Women in Stem page. Therefore, if you are a woman in STEM (Academic, professional staff, Postdocs, PhD etc.), kindly submit a max 50 word Bio, the link to your university page and a picture (if you have one that captures you working that will also do).
